Here are two pics of the antique silver pill box from India and I cannot get a translation of what the Arabic Writing means. Could influence the value of the box.

I listed this on Ebay (for an extremely high amount) in an effort to get someone to translate the Arabic for me.

Looks like it is upside down but I think it is some ones name and maybe a date. Then again I could be completely wrong. You should ask Lindsey Lohan to translate it for you.

Why not go to your local restaurants and hop in one that does arabic foods. (or a google search for arabic restaurants in your area). Usually the workers speak the language.

I am from a small community Ex. I don't believe the State Capital has an Arabic Restaurant, and that is 50 miles away. I did a google and Chicago is the closest city with Arabic Restaraunts and its a 6 hr drive. I am hoping that my Dentist, at my next visit to the VA, can translate. I believe he is Indian. Thanks for the suggestion though, I never thought about checking for restaurants.

Got the translation this morning. It must be from the Kuran.
"O Thou that raiseth men in rank and degree"
Sounds like the pill box was a gift to a military person who must have been promoted.
I truly hope this item doesn't have any ties to an extremist.
